The Project:
The MSY North Terminal project is the largest capital project undertaken in New Orleans in recent history. It’s 972,000 square foot facility included three concourses and 35 gates. The project also included a 17-lane consolidated security checkpoint for TSA, a 2,190 space short term parking garage, a 685 space surface parking lot, a taxi lot, the facility’s associated taxiways, all jet bridges and jetways, roadway entry lighting, and emergency generators. Systems included security, fire alarm, paging, voice, data, and EVIDS signage.
