Alterman Employee Harvey Zapata Recognized For Community Contributions

Employee owned Alterman, Inc., one of San Antonio’s oldest and largest electrical and data communication contractors, today announced that Project Manager Harvey Zapata was awarded the MVP Award presented by the San Antonio Hispanic Contractors Association.

Mr. Zapata was nominated based on his significant contribution of volunteer time, talents and service toward fostering diversity within the industry. He has been involved in numerous projects that have enhanced the local community by providing electrical services to non-profit organizations.

“I would like to thank Alterman for allowing project managers like myself to use company resources and expertise to help the surrounding community.” said Mr. Zapata.

Alterman participates in many of San Antonio’s Chambers of Commerce, including San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in an effort to promote San Antonio’s growth. The company also serves in leadership roles in the local chapters of the American Subcontractors Association (ASA), Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and the Hispanic Contractor’s Association (HCA) to advance the construction industry in San Antonio.
